The Levantine Foundation is delighted to announce publication of a catalogue “The Ethiopic
Manuscripts of the Egyptian Monastery of Dayr Al-Suryan” The culmination of several years’ work by
Dr Denis Nosnitsin and Dorothea Reule (Universität Hamburg), the catalogue offers, for the first-
time, in-depth information of this unique collection together with the history of interaction between
the Ethiopian-Eritrean Highlands and Deir al-Surian monks over the centuries.
The Catalogue is in English with Arabic section to make it accessible for a wider public.
